TRANSNATIONAL ACCESS // WP4

SYNTHESIS INFRASTRUCTURE

The objectives of this WP is devoted to the TransNational Access to the ESMI synthesis infrastructure, which consists of state-of-the-art sinthesis capabilities available for cutting-edge Soft Matter researches. The ESMI synthesis infrastructure include the polymer and nanoparticle synthesis platforms. The ESMI infrastructure is located in three European laboratories. The full ESMI infrastructure represents a unique and powerful possibility for the European Soft Matter scientists for their investigations. The access to the ESMI infrastructure is offered through a peer-review system of the submitted proposals. 

The ESMI infrastructure is located at the following laboratories:

  • BIOMA - CICbiomaGUNE, San Sebastian, Spain

Size: diamater 50 - 700 nm for silica, 100-4000 nm for core-shell particles and shells, monodisperse (PDI < 5%), shell thickness several 10 nm
